The Apollo's Major OS Update is Finally Here!
I know this has been a long time coming, but we have been super busy the last year laying the foundation for what we hope will be the most important feature update for the Apollo Platform, and brings the ultimate vision of this hardware closer to reality.
Starting today any Apollo user can update their SD card and add a USB drive in order to run a Full Litecoin Node directly on their device! This will be unprecedented in crypto history, as our whole user base can essentially be updated overnight and add thousands of Litecoin Nodes to the network, essentially making Litecoin the most decentralized crypto in the world with the largest percentage of everyday users controlling and running the Network with their own nodes.
While others charge up to $300 for a device that can do this, we are proud to be able to offer this as a free update to almost all our users. Batch 2 customers only need a good USB drive they have sitting around with at least 64GB of free space. Batch 1 users is a little complicated, as we underestimated the RAM requirements to run a Full Node early on, and will require an MCU swap that we are providing at cost for all of you that wish to upgrade.
Full instructions to update is all detailed in the support thread below.

For Batch 1 customers, and less technical users we are also providing upgrade kits with a more reliable pre-burned industrial SD card, as well as the required USB Drive pre-loaded with a recent copy of the Litecoin Blockchain. You can be up an running in a few minutes with these kits, and it also includes just the MCU swap for Batch 1 customers.

I urge you all in the coming days to update your Apollo, and run a full node on at least one of your devices thats open to the outside world. There are less than 2,000 nodes out there running the Litecoin Network. With the Fed printing trillions of USD, and a worldwide crisis rivaling 2008 that created crypto in the first place, the timing could not be better
Let us show the world how a small community of users can pave the way for a decentralized crypto future that YOU control.
