**Lisk app for Ledger is live** We are happy to announce the release of a dedicated Lisk app for the Ledger hardware wallet. This is the application that allows users to manage their cryptoassets with their Ledger devices. It is the first step for an integration of LSK into the Ledger environment and for an integration of the Lisk L1 blockchain with Ledger.
**Commitment to Security by Lisk and Zondax** The implementation was made possible by the team at Zondax. Zondax has emerged as a frontrunner in creating essential back-end technology for blockchain networks, contributing to over 50 blockchain protocols. Their most notable achievement is crafting applications that enable blockchain projects to integrate seamlessly with Ledger hardware wallets. Their expertise has been utilized by over 45 protocols like Cosmos, Tezos, Zcash, Filecoin, and Polkadot, and now, Lisk will become a member of that esteemed list.
To safeguard private data and cryptographic keys, Zondax emphasizes validator security, employing TEEs (Trusted Execution Environments) and a range of security strategies that involve independent industrial quality devices, TEEs, and hardware security module (HSM) software solutions.
